front cover old and new
these are my two magazine covers the first one is the first one that i made and the second one is the newest one that i have made.
i created a questionnaire to send out to ask for feed back on my magazine cover and i used this to re work my magazine, whe i looked at the feed back i found out the the main thing that i needed to change on my cover is the colour theme. to start with it was very bland and wishy washy and i really wanted something more bold and striking for the front cover. another thing that i needed to change was all of the text, the fonts for my cover were just all worng i decided that black would be abetter colour for the header.
i really like the new cover line going across the main image, i think that the drop shaddow on the font really makes the magazine look much more professional and the matching bubble telling you which issue it is makes these peices of infomation stand out as they are the most imortant selling points.
i realised that on my old magazine i didnt have a price for the magazine, this was very simple to ammend, using the text tool i added this in the bottom, left hand corner with the barcode anf maved the issue number down there too. i think these three peices of infomation look very good together because they are essential but do not need to be noticed and are not a selling point of the magazine.
